ShipMonk is seeking a Process Engineer who can keep up with a fast-paced environment, can work independently without close supervision (no babysitting!), is hungry to learn and able to perform well in a highly collaborative team. This role is responsible for analyzing work flows within and across all departments across the organization to optimize the efficiency, quality and safety of company policies and processes. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to present recommendations for process improvement to all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure and optimize processes from inception to implementation
  • Assess processes; analyze and interpret data
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production and quality of output
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions

Requirements

  • 1-2 years work experience in a similar role (Preferred)
  • BS degree in Engineering (Preferred)
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Knowledge of process related standards
  • Knowledge of process mapping and improvement
  • Working knowledge of process engineering related software
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
  • Lean, Six Sigma knowledge
  • Project management and planning experience
  • Experience with SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Implementation
