The role and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for initiating and maintaining the overall safety, security and assets of the company. In addition, this role will be responsible for day to day operations support and facilities management.


  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and health and safety practices
  • Conduct safety audits and infraction reporting of staff and subordinates in the warehouse
  • Monitor and inspect equipment and materials
  • Enforce all policies and procedures regarding property, equipment, dress code, warehouse rules, and company policy
  • Report damaged equipment. Lockout of damaged equipment, as well as coordination of repairs/preventive maintenance
  • Coordinate cleaning crew schedule and ensure that their performance is up to company standards
  • Prepares reports and assists in special assignments as directed
  • Train employees on 5S principles and implement and maintain principles throughout the warehouse


  • The officers will protect company assets by identifying potential areas of loss through pilferage
  • Patrol the building aisles, break rooms, warehouse floor, and parking lot
  • Carry out security checks to ensure the building is secure and to deter theft / loss prevention
  • Carry out investigations into theft and criminal activity with the use of all security equipment
  • Perform employee screening with the use of hand held metal detector and established search procedures
  • Escort terminated employees from the premises
  • Act as liaison between the company and police/emergency medical and first responders
  • Conduct random searches of employees

Asset Management

  • Asset tag, serialize, and log all received equipment and valued materials
  • Configure devices to be used with proprietary and supporting applications
  • Perform minor scheduled maintenance and repairs to warehouse equipment and devices
  • Assembly and disassembly of simple equipment and furniture
  • Perform daily audits of devices on hand
  • Daily log in and log out of employee equipment
  • Arrange warranty repairs for all equipment where applicable
  • Schedule repairs and maintenance that require a professional


  • At least 2 years experience in the security field
  • OSHA Certification
  • Fluency in English
  • An effective communicator
  • Highly motivated
  • Self starter
  • Punctual
